Chiropractic

I approach chiropractic as a practice of listening. Your body is constantly communicating through sensation, movement, tension, breath, posture, pain, and ease. Rather than immediately asking, “How do we make this go away?” I’m interested in a different question: What is your body asking for, and how can we meet it?

My work uses gentle, precise chiropractic adjustments alongside movement, breath, touch, and awareness to explore the patterns your body and nervous system are organizing around. Sometimes that means creating more ease. Sometimes it means helping something move that has felt stuck. And sometimes it simply means becoming curious enough to listen before deciding what needs to change.

I don’t see health as a destination we eventually arrive at. Our bodies change. Our lives change. What we need changes. Health is an ongoing relationship with life: listening, responding, learning, and adapting to what is here now.

That understanding shapes the relationship I hope to have with every person I work with. I’m not standing outside the process as the doctor who has “arrived,” fixing someone who hasn’t. I’m in it too. My training and experience inform how I meet you, and my own continued learning keeps the work alive.

Ultimately, my intention is not to tell your body what it should be, but to help you develop a clearer relationship with what is already happening within it. Chiropractic becomes one way of participating in that conversation and creating the conditions for your own intelligence to express itself more fully. There is no perfect body to arrive at and no final version of ourselves to become. There is simply the ongoing practice of meeting what is here with curiosity, presence, and less force, more intelligence.

My Journey

My journey with chiropractic began when I was eight or nine years old. I struggled with severe asthma and allergies, and my breathing became so difficult that I had to sleep with a breathing machine. It affected my ability to live comfortably and fully enjoy life at an age when I should have been free to just be a kid.

Through chiropractic care, my asthma eventually resolved completely. I no longer needed the machine, and I went on to play sports throughout my life. That experience left a lasting impression on me, even though I was too young to fully understand its significance at the time. It would be years before I recognized just how much it had shaped my relationship with health, healing, and the human body.

My love of sports led me to study exercise physiology, and for much of my undergraduate education, I planned to pursue a career in physical therapy. After graduating, I took a year away from school to reflect on what direction I wanted to take. Although I recognized the value of physical therapy, I felt drawn toward something that spoke to a deeper curiosity about the body, its innate intelligence, and our capacity for healing. Chiropractic brought those interests together in a way that felt both professionally and spiritually aligned.

In a sense, choosing chiropractic brought me back to something I’d experienced long before I had the words to understand it.

My journey hasn’t been without its own challenges. Surgeries, broken bones, severe full-body burns, and a serious blood and lung condition that nearly took my life have given me firsthand experience with vulnerability, uncertainty, the desire to feel well again, and even the reality of death.

These experiences have shaped how I understand pain and healing. I’ve come to appreciate that every person’s experience is unique and that healing rarely follows a straight line. I’ve also learned that compassion isn’t separate from the tools we use to help someone; it’s what guides how we use them. When we take the time to truly understand a person and listen to what they need, the care we offer becomes more thoughtful, more responsive, and more personal. The technique emerges from that connection, allowing people to feel seen and supported throughout the process.

Today, I bring my clinical training, experience, and personal perspective to my work. I don’t see people as problems to be fixed, but as whole human beings navigating their own unique experiences. My intention is to help people find greater ease, reconnect with their bodies, and discover a deeper sense of agency in their own well-being.

My history continues to shape the way I practice: with curiosity, humility, and a deep respect for the being behind every symptom.

Compassion at Heart

Compassion isn’t separate from the care I offer. It’s at the heart of how I approach each person.

I believe we all deserve to be met with curiosity, respect, and understanding, especially when we’re struggling. When we learn to meet ourselves with less judgment and more compassion, we create space for growth, connection, and change.

This is the spirit I hope to bring to every interaction: a place where you can feel seen, supported, and free to explore what health and well-being means for you.
